When a customer sends a message to a business using InkDesk through these platforms:

  • The message content is processed by our AI to generate a response
  • Customer name, contact details, and inquiry details may be stored to create a lead record for the business
  • Conversation history is stored securely and accessible only to the business owner
  • We do not use customer messages for advertising purposes

Our use of data received from Meta platforms (Instagram, Facebook, WhatsApp) complies with Meta's Platform Terms and Data Policy.

5. Data Storage and Security

Your data is stored securely using Supabase, a GDPR-compliant database platform. We implement appropriate technical and organisational measures to protect your information against unauthorised access, alteration, disclosure, or destruction.

We retain your data for as long as your account is active or as needed to provide services. You may request deletion of your data at any time by contacting us.

6. Third-Party Services

We use the following third-party services to operate our platform:

  • Supabase — database and authentication
  • Anthropic / OpenRouter — AI language model for conversation processing
  • Meta (Instagram, Facebook, WhatsApp) — messaging platform integrations
  • Render — cloud infrastructure for our backend services
  • Vercel — hosting for our web applications
